Guy Ritchie
Guy Ritchie
Guy Richie is a famous writer and producer for British Crime, Action films.
His previous films have included;
Snatch
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Revolver
Rock n Rolla
Sherlock Holmes
These films gave us inspiration for our own film opening. His raw, hard-boiled, violence aspect toward the crime genre is inspiring. Although our film opening is a sophisticated, educated take on the crime-heist genre, we have and would use elements of his work within our film.
The most important element about his films, are that they are British. This we would like to take on with having Guy Richie as our writer and producer. His unique talent for creating a classic British Blockbuster, his fan base and previous deals with Warner Brother pictures is inspiring and would be a great addition to our film.
Guy Richie has had several British Blockbusters, which made huge gross profits such as;
Sherlock Holmes which made $209 million
Sherlock Holmes 2 which made $189 million
Snatch which made $30 million
His films have a certain brutality theme with them which is diferent to that of Oceans because of the sophistication, but similar to The Bank Job because of the torture scenes.
